**Interlock special order fabric requires an additional 3-4 days, or longer depending on availability, before the can be shipped out. Please factor this wait time into your deadline for delivery.

Stretches along the length and width. Each color stretches differently. The fabric loses its stretch with use, so it has a “life” depending on what drops you are doing and how often you perform them. The fabric is more stretchy than the Tricot with some stretch. It will be even more stretchy when used in very high ceilings. It is 60″ wide and has a more muted surface.
The fabric we sell is also what we use for classes and performances. Some of our performers prefer the interlock, others prefer the Tricot. There is not really a “beginner” fabric. Some people learn on the Tricot and are comfortable with this, others learn first on the interlock and prefer the stretch offered. If you are working in a very high ceiling all the fabric will seem stretchier. If you have a very low ceiling, the Tricot with some stretch, or the regular Tricot is recommended. If you want to strip your fabric making it more narrow, we recommend using sharp scissors.

The fabric can be washed in a washing machine using warm water and a liquid detergent such as Woolite. An extra rinse cycle is advised. Our practice is to wash our fabrics once a month. We dry them in the dryer at a medium temperature.
Please check your fabric frequently and although it can have small holes, please try to prevent these by taking care to not have long finger nails or toe nails and of course, no jewelry of any type. When rigging in theaters be aware your fabric can get damaged on lights and frayed cables.
Also, costumes that have metal parts can damage your fabric.
What is the breaking strength when the fabric has holes?
The green interlock was cut and then stress tested with the result that it did not tear any more, nor did it tear in another location.
The white interlock that had been pre-stressed did tear, but not where it was cut.

We generate your shipping label and send you the tracking number by email so please make sure your shipping address and email are correct.
*Expedited shipping is available but is typically twice as expensive.
Please select expedited shipping if you need this to meet your deadline. Let us know your deadline in your “order note”.
For large international orders, the shipping can be under calculated by the shopping cart or over calculated. If we need to refund you, we will. Likewise, if your order will cost more, we will invoice you for the additional amount.
You are responsible to pay the duties and taxes required by your country.
For Orders going to Canada: You will pay an additional broker fee if you choose UPS as your carrier. This fee is in addition to the shipping cost and the duties and taxes charged.
We fabricate many of these items to your order specifications so we do not offer returns for any item. We are totally happy to chat and email about your purchase beforehand so that any ambiguities can be worked out before you place the order.
School Districts, College & Large Institutions:
We sell to many school districts and are able to process your orders as your purchasing department prefers. We can generate a separate invoice for you and can also fill out the necessary paperwork. Please call or email with your special needs.

Thank you for your purchase of aerial fabric rigging materials and equipment from Aerial Fabric Acrobatics, LLC (“AFA”). We appreciate your business.
Our customers who purchase aerial rigging fabric acrobatic materials use them to assemble rigging for use in aerial fabric acrobatic activities. These activities are, by their nature, dangerous to all of the participating individuals including students and performers. AFA wants you to know that it is vital that anyone using its rigging materials be fully aware of prescribed industry methods for assembling rigging, including, but not limited to all necessary safety procedures and precautions.
We provide this warning to you to make you aware of, and sensitive to, your participants’ needs for safety and the absolute necessity to have competent assemblers and riggers assemble and install your apparatus.
You have not requested AFA’s assistance for your rigging activities except to assemble the fabric to the hardware provided. All hardware specifications are provided. AFA has had no role in examining the proposed location or configuration of your rigging or the precise ways in which you will use it.
AFA hereby disclaims any and all responsibility for your use of the rigging materials you purchase. We recommend that you engage competent professionals to assist in the rigging. You proceed at your own risk if you do not do so. AFA may offer you a separate agreement by which it will provide you on-site consultation to assist in the rigging procedure.

All orders are custom orders and we treat them as such. We verify the quality of all of the products we sell.
All of our equipment is sold new. We do not sell used equipment because we cannot guarantee the quality. Different amounts of wear and tear can affect the safety of equipment.
