Recommended for Aerial Dance / Aerial Silks. The set consists of: one swivel, one polished aluminum Rescue 8, and two steel triple lock carabiners. Pending stock, rescue 8 and carabiners may differ in color. Modified D carabiner is rated at 60 kN, stamped rating on the carabiner.
The Modified D carabiner offers a larger profile and a high major-axis strength rating of 60 kN, or approximately 13,489 pounds of force. Its generous 1-inch gate opening makes it easy to connect a variety of aerial rigging components, including hardware, spansets, and round slings. A triple-action auto-locking gate requires three intentional movements to open and automatically returns to the locked position when released. The removable captive eye pin can also help keep connected equipment positioned toward the base of the carabiner. Autolocking carabiners are the industry standard for aerial silks set ups.
