Our steel auto-locking carabiners are an essential part of an aerial yoga or aerial dance rig setup. Both shapes are made from high-strength steel and are exceptionally strong. The carabiners come in two body shapes – Modified D or Oval. Color may vary from the photo due to stock.
Oval carabiners are rated at 25 kN. They are more symmetrical and lighter than the Modified D carabiners, making them a great choice for aerial yoga setups due to their sleek, compact profile. The symmetrical oval shape also helps keep connected hardware more centered within the carabiner. The auto-locking gate automatically returns to the locked position when released.
The Modified D carabiners are larger and stronger, with a major-axis rating of 60 kN (equivalent to approximately 13,489 pounds of force). They are an excellent choice for aerial dance and other aerial rigging applications where a larger, higher-strength connector is preferred. Their large 1 inch gate opening easily accommodates aerial hardware, spansets, and round slings. The triple-action auto-locking gate requires three deliberate movements to open and automatically returns to the locked position when released. A captive eye pin helps keep connected equipment positioned at the base of the carabiner but can be removed.

equipment from Aerial Fabric Acrobatics, LLC (“AFA”). We appreciate your

Our customers who purchase aerial rigging fabric acrobatic materials
use them to assemble rigging for use in aerial fabric acrobatic
activities. These activities are, by their nature, dangerous to all of
the participating individuals including students and performers. AFA
wants you to know that it is vital that anyone using its rigging
materials be fully aware of prescribed industry methods for assembling
rigging, including, but not limited to all necessary safety procedures
and precautions.
We provide this warning to you to make you aware of, and sensitive
to, your participants’ needs for safety and the absolute necessity to
have competent assemblers and riggers assemble and install your
apparatus.
You have not requested AFA’s assistance for your rigging activities
except to assemble the fabric to the hardware provided. All hardware
specifications are provided. AFA has had no role in examining the
proposed location or configuration of your rigging or the precise ways
in which you will use it.
AFA hereby disclaims any and all responsibility for your use of the
rigging materials you purchase. We recommend that you engage competent
professionals to assist in the rigging. You proceed at your own risk if
you do not do so. AFA may offer you a separate agreement by which it
will provide you on-site consultation to assist in the rigging
procedure.

is over-calculated, we will refund you the over-charged amount.

We generate your shipping label and send you the tracking number by
email so please make sure your shipping address and email are correct.
*Expedited shipping is available but is typically twice as expensive.
Please select expedited shipping if you need this to meet your deadline. Let us know your deadline in your “order note”.
For large international orders, the shipping can be under calculated
by the shopping cart or over calculated. If we need to refund you, we
will. Likewise, if your order will cost more, we will invoice you for
the additional amount.
You are responsible to pay the duties and taxes required by your country.
For Orders going to Canada: You will pay an additional broker fee if
you choose UPS as your carrier. This fee is in addition to the shipping
cost and the duties and taxes charged.
We CANNOT offer refunds or returns but we CAN help you in your ordering process.

requires much consideration. Given that we fabricate many of these items
to your order specifications we do not offer refunds or returns for any
